They made the news with deals such as Maria Louisa Blvd 354sq.m. plot sold at E6,356/sq.m., the 6.3dka at Stochna gara sold for 13mln Euros and the staggering E8,355/sq.m. paid for “Shell”’s Bulgarian property. In line with these facts the first great deal for 2009 is again with a Greek investor buying 2,684 dka plot for 8.5mln Euros to build Bank’s head quarters. Price of 2,970 Euros per sq.m. land is defenatley one of the highest ever fetched on one of Sofia’s prestigious addresses. Well known company investing in Bulgaria is currently working on few projects in the Bulgarian capital. The manager shares his overview how the Bulgarian banks have adopted very conservative politics which is a major hindrance for the building companies in Bulgaria looking for an investment loan. Serious investors though experience no difficulties with financing their impressive projects such as “Millennium center”,
